Polypropylene (PP) is suitable for food applications and is commonly used in food contact materials. Our plastic filters are made of PP.

However, it’s important to emphasize that our product, according to the usage instructions on the package, is not designed for direct contact with food. This is not the intended purpose of the filters.

While the filters may touch the lips and teeth when held in the mouth, this does not constitute food contact, as the inhaled air and captured scents are not classified as food.

PP is known for its resistance to releasing or absorbing substances, which is why it is also used in medical products.

Therefore, our product is not subject to the same regulations as food contact materials, even though PP is approved for food use.
